He passed away in Singapore on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at approximately 7:30 AM (Bangladesh time), at the age of 83. Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun.
A trailblazer in the business landscape of Bangladesh, Syed Manzur Elahi played a pivotal role in the nation’s corporate advancement through his visionary leadership, integrity, and steadfast dedication. His exemplary professionalism and statesmanship earned him the distinguished honor of serving as an advisor to the Caretaker Government of Bangladesh on two occasions, in 1996 and 2001.
