Bangladesh has been elected as the Vice President of the South Asian Para Sports Federation during a recent election at the Asian Paralympic Committee meeting, held at the Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi. India was elected President, while the Maldives secured the position of Secretary General. Pakistan was also named Vice President, Nepal will serve as Treasurer, and Bhutan was appointed as Director-at-Large.
The newly elected committee will serve a term of three years. The election was conducted by Majid Rashid, President of the Asian Paralympic Committee.
