The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) is going to organize a gathering titled 'Establishing political rights of youth' at Chittagong's historic Palground Maidan on May 10.
The party has already completed various preparations to make this convention a public.
A preparatory meeting was held on Monday (May 5th) in the Grand Valley Conference room with the initiative of Bandarban District BNP and its organ and allied organizations. BNP Central Executive Committee co -organizational secretary Mir Helal was present as the chief guest at the meeting.
He said that BNP acting chairman Tareq Rahman has been working relentlessly for quality change in the political structure of the country. By establishing the political rights of the youth, he wants to turn Bangladesh into a modern and democratic state. If the rights of the youth are established, no one will be able to turn this country into a Tabeda state.
He also said that young society has to come forward to stand up against the current misery. The dream of building a self -reliant and democratic Bangladesh under the leadership of Tareq Rahman - in its center is the youth. Young people can take Bangladesh back to the spirit of the War of Liberation. If their political participation is not guaranteed, the country will be immersed in the dark.
The meeting was chaired by Bandarban District BNP convener Saching Prue Jerry And member secretary Jabed Reza performed. BNP leader Mujibur Rashid, Jasim Uddin Tushar, Lusai Mong, Abdul Mabud, Abdus Shukkur, Ritle Biswas, Mashiur Rahman Mithun spoke at the meeting. District Jubo Dal President Zahir Uddin Masum, Ahayak Ali Haider Bablu of the volunteer party, Chhatra Dal president Abu Bakkar and general secretary Shahidul Islam were present at the meeting
