Dhaka Club Limited and MedPark Hospital Thailand have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening healthcare cooperation and facilitating access to specialised medical services for Dhaka Club members.
The MoU was signed on Saturday, August 29, at a ceremony held at Dhaka Club, with representatives from both organisations in attendance.
Prior to the signing ceremony, a special medical seminar was organised exclusively for Dhaka Club members. During the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suwatchai, a specialist in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiology and Vascular Disease at MedPark Hospital, discussed various cardiovascular conditions, associated risk factors and modern treatment approaches.
Dr. Sombat Kunakornsawat, an Orthopedic Surgery specialist with expertise in Spine Surgery, discussed various spinal conditions, back and neck pain, as well as modern medical and surgical treatment approaches.
The visiting specialists also highlighted MedPark Hospital Thailand’s advanced medical technologies, modern diagnostic facilities and specialised healthcare services. Dhaka Club members actively participated in the session, raising health-related questions and receiving professional insights and guidance directly from the visiting specialists.
Under the MoU, Dhaka Club members will have access to a range of special services and privileges at MedPark Hospital, including access to the Evergreen Lounge, priority appointment scheduling, personalised patient assistance and medical coordination, medicine collection and bill payment services from the lounge, and special discounts on selected services. Members will also receive a 5 percent discount on most medicines and a 10 percent discount on general ward room charges, subject to applicable terms, conditions and exclusions.
The event was attended by Dhaka Club President Shameem Hussain and other senior officials of the club.
Representing MedPark Hospital were Kazi Sharhan Saif, Manager, International Marketing—Bangladesh, South Asia and Africa; Mohammad Bayzid, International Marketing Supervisor, Bangladesh; Saiful Islam Rana, Managing Director, MedPark Hospital Bangladesh Office; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suwatchai and Dr. Sombat Kunakornsawat, along with other officials.
To make specialised healthcare support more accessible to patients in Bangladesh, MedPark Hospital provides appointment scheduling, medical coordination, visa and travel assistance, and other patient support services through its offices in Banani, Dhaka and Chattogram.
The partnership is expected to make access to internationally recognised specialised healthcare more convenient for Dhaka Club members while creating new avenues for collaboration between the two organisations. It also marks a new step towards providing members with a more seamless and personalised healthcare experience.
