BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman said, we have many tough challenges ahead. We have differences of opinion. We have to talk and discuss our various differences. And we have to keep the democratic process going at any cost.
He said these things at a program organized at a hotel in Banani in the capital on Saturday. BNP organized this program to exchange greetings between Tarique Rahman and journalists from the media. He said, a speaker here has said that we have challenges.
As a political activist, I think we have many tough challenges ahead. We have different differences of opinion. We have to talk and discuss our differences. We have to keep the democratic process going at any cost - which we are going to start from the 12th, God willing.
He also said, we have to keep the democratic process going at any cost. We have to keep accountability going.
Tarique Rahman said, we had a problem, we have a problem. Of course we don't want to go back before August 5. If I think about it from my situation, on one side I have a funeral in 1981, on the other side a funeral on December 31, 2025, and on the other side an incident on August 5, 2024. I think this is not for me alone, these two examples are probably in front of the leaders, activists, members of my party and the people of the entire country. The best example to judge is that we have no reason to go back to August 5.
Editors, journalists and BNP leaders from various media outlets in the country were present at the event.
