From a modest dream to a widespread movement, De-Chut Bhraman Sangha, one of the country's most prominent travel organizations, stepped into its 33rd year on May 1st. The milestone was celebrated with a festive cake-cutting ceremony held at the Buriganga Riverview in Sadarghat, the heart of the capital.

A Journey That Began in 1993
Founded on May 1, 1993, by a group of energetic youths including Muhammad Javed Hakim, Sheikh Muhammad Muktar Ali, Biplob, Abdul Jabbar, Sobur, and Montu, the organization has evolved far beyond its initial scope. What started as a small travel club has now transformed into a major institution dedicated to tourism, social service, and humanitarian aid.

Promoting Nature and Heritage
Under the steadfast leadership of renowned writer and journalist Muhammad Javed Hakim, who serves as the Chief Organizer, the group has played a silent yet vital role in developing Bangladesh's tourism sector.

Exploration: The organization has traversed the country’s mountains, rivers, and coastal regions.

Cultural Awareness: By introducing travelers to local traditions and heritage, they have fostered a deeper connection between the people and the land.

Environmental Responsibility: Every expedition carries a message of nature conservation and awareness.

Beyond Travel: A Shield During Crisis
What sets De-Chhut Vromon Songho apart is its commitment to humanity. The organization has consistently stood by the nation during times of peril:

Flood Relief: Providing aid to marooned families.

Pandemic Support: Assisting the vulnerable during global health crises.

Social Welfare: Working tirelessly for the underprivileged members of society.

The Team Behind the Success
The strength of the organization lies in its dedicated members. Alongside Muhammad Javed Hakim, the current activities are driven by a passionate team including:

Jasim, Mostak, Ratan Khan, Anisur Rahman, Arafat, Rafiq, Hasib Ali, Mehedi Hasan, Shakil Hossain, Hanif, and Nazmul Ahmed.

Their collective effort has ensured that the organization remains well-organized, progressive, and dynamic as it enters its fourth decade of service.

As De-Chhut Vromon Songho looks toward the future, it continues to inspire a new generation to explore the beauty of Bangladesh while upholding the values of selflessness and national pride.
