Hollywood actor Tom Holland has revealed that giving up alcohol has led to the happiest period of his life. In a recent interview, the Spider-Man star said drinking had begun to negatively affect his career, and quitting helped him reach new professional heights.
Holland initially stopped drinking in January 2022 while taking part in the “Dry January” campaign. During that time, he realized alcohol had become an addiction and was adding to the pressures of fame rather than easing them.
Since quitting, he says he feels more confident and energized, starting each day refreshed. He also reflected that continuing to drink might have prevented him from achieving his current success.
In 2024, Holland launched his own non-alcoholic beer brand called “Bero.” He claims his lifestyle change has also influenced friends, many of whom have reduced their alcohol consumption.
Speaking about his journey, Holland added that he once challenged himself to stay sober until his birthday in June to test his self-control. After completing that goal, he discovered a new level of happiness in his life.
