Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has drawn attention after revealing that she worked around 18 hours a day while shooting for her upcoming film Vibe.

The actress spoke about her long working hours at the film’s trailer launch event in Mumbai on September 2, amid an ongoing debate in Bollywood over extended shooting shifts.

Zinta said she had come to India for a limited period and wanted to complete the film as quickly as possible so she could return to the United States and be with her children. She added that she has no regrets about working the long hours.

The issue of working hours in the Indian film industry has gained renewed attention following reports of disagreements between actors and filmmakers over daily shooting schedules.

Directed by Kunal Kemmu, Vibe also stars Sparsh Shrivastav, Vanshika Dheer, Yashpal Sharma and Dinesh Lal Yadav. Produced by Kunal Kemmu and Chirag Nihalani under the Drongo Films banner, the film is backed by Amazon MGM Studios and is scheduled for release on September 18.
