Police have arrested a woman in Nawabganj, Dinajpur, on charges of embezzling an unspecified amount of money and making fake documents by pretending to be disabled and promising to provide her with a golden citizen card and allowance for disability allowance.
On Tuesday (November 3), Syeda Tamima Khatun, along with 6-7 other unidentified people, was arrested from the Tarpanghat area of the upazila.
She is the daughter of Afzal Hossain of Tarpanghat village in the upazila headquarters.
