Two people were detained with 250 yaba tablets from an abandoned building on the premises of Kalmakanda Upazila Health Complex in Netrokona on Monday.
The detainees were identified as **Abdul Hamid, 35, and Azizur Rahman, 45**.
According to Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Force officials, PC Md Motiur Rahman and Ansar member Md Rafiqul Islam noticed the two men entering the abandoned building at around 10:45am. Their suspicious movements prompted the Ansar members to question them.
A subsequent search of their bag led to the recovery of 250 yaba tablets. The two were immediately detained and later handed over to Kalmakanda Model Police Station along with the seized drugs for legal action.
Hospital authorities were also informed about the incident. Ansar officials said the operation reflects their ongoing efforts to prevent drug-related and suspicious activities and maintain security at important public facilities.
