Two GPA-5 students and other meritorious students were felicitated in Bandarban Islamia Senior Madrasa Dakhil Examination-2026 in a festive atmosphere.
On Tuesday (August 18) morning, awards, certificates and honor crests were handed over to the students who achieved achievements in various fields in a ceremony organized in the hall of the madrasa.
Madrasah President, Additional Deputy Commissioner and Municipal Administrator S. M. Manzurul Haq. The special guest was Md. Nasir Uddin, member of Bandarban Hill District Council.
Madrasa Principal Maulana Muhammad Badrul Haque presided over the event and senior Arabic lecturer Maulana Abdul Awal delivered the welcome speech. Senior Arabic Lecturer Maulana Badiul Alam presided over the program.
Senior teacher Maulana Noor Muhammad, Maulana Md. Osmani Gani, teacher Mumtaz Begum, Kari Ilyach, Arabic lecturer Enamul Haque M. were present at the reception. Noman, Md. Korban Ali, Maulana Ali Akbar, prominent journalist Muhammad Ali of Bandarban, Farida Yamin Tahiya's father Md. Farid Saudagar, guardian Md. Abdul Majid, teachers, students and parents.
In the speech of the chief guest S. M. Manjurul Haque said that joint efforts of teachers, parents and students are very important in improving the quality of education. He emphasized on students to develop as citizens with moral and human values along with good results. At the same time, he assured cooperation in the overall development of the madrasa.
Principal Maulana Muhammad Badrul Haque said in the president's speech that education is not only limited to good results. The main objective of education is to develop students as ideal, humane and patriotic citizens by combining moral values, religious education and modern knowledge.
According to Madrasa sources, 33 students regularly participated in the Dakhil Exam-2026 from the institution. Out of these 30 have passed. Two students GPA-5 achieved. They are student Farida Yamin Tahiya and student Mahmudullah Sadiq.
At the end of the program, the guests awarded the meritorious crests to the meritorious students. At this time, the joy among the students-Excitement and festivity spread.
