The player of the final will be awarded a crest and Tk 3,000, while a player-of-the-match award will be presented in every game. “Walton has long supported sports at different levels in Bangladesh. From international competitions to domestic events, we have sought to help players develop their talent and create more opportunities to participate in sports,” said Rabiul Islam Milton.
“Our association with DRU also spans many years and includes various sporting and other events. Such tournaments offer journalists a welcome opportunity for recreation amid their demanding professional schedules and strengthen bonds among colleagues. We are delighted to be part of the DRU Media Cup Cricket Tournament once again.” DRU leaders thanked Walton and Labaid for supporting the organisation. They said the tournament rules and fixtures would be shared with participating teams. Walton regularly sponsors cricket, football and other sporting events across Bangladesh.
