It was an assured of optimism, Police Reform would be considered as an important stake but finding now this issue is looming large just months after thousands’ bloodshed in the tyranny of late 2024 by mostly the sycophant Cops.
And now it’s being perceived as an obsolete idea by many of the mighty intellectuals & eventually the so optimized Police Reform is going to be pondered as one of the least important issues & be dumped soon to the garbage from the list of exigency! Indeed, an ‘Irony of Fate’ for the oppressed masses of this country of unruliness since liberation!
Well! We stretch out our highest gratitude, greetings & highest thanks for the ongoing ‘Reforms’ towards all other important issues e.g. Election, Judiciary, Administration, Women, Education, Finance, Media etc. Definitely, such exigencies urge upon redressing too, for the full-fledged democratization of the country, & are inevitable to reach at the destination of our long-dreamt great bounty ‘The Good Governance’, the heartiest aspiration & the sincerest desire of the teeming millions.
Presumably, the most-felt visible exigency is being by-passed with the passage of times i.e. Good Governance in policing & to end the ‘Police Tyranny’. But how to curb down this potential menace in the up-coming days? Only way-out is not to forget the blood-stained faces of our beloved students, children & all other walks. And it’s the absolute juncture to rethink, reconsider & re-ponder this issue. The high ups forget instinctively & usually easily as they don’t feel much about the police harassment practically. Sufferers are only the oppressed & depressed masses who know very well about the misconducts of few Cops in their truest sense & cruelest reality as well. So, is the urgency of the ‘Police Reforms’! So, is the need to strongly stir the oblivious minds! And, so is the inculcation of the exigency yet to haunt in the minds of the hurt millions!
Unequivocally to say that a holistic reshuffling is required for the cops but the question is, ‘Machine or Man’ who is to be underscored first. Mere withdrawing of the lethal weapons isn’t at all a solution to the police tyranny. Surely, any rational one would consider ‘Man’ as the first stakeholder & not the ‘Machine’. Then, shouldn’t we ponder first to replace the driving forces of the cops by assigning the right men behind the Machines.
How do the right men to lead the cops unless we must ensure the steering should be handed over to the righteous drivers? And that’s why we must need the Independent Police Commission (IPC is to be led by the honest, experienced & efficient personalities) first then, of course, thinking of the accessories i.e. Machines, either killing machine or harassing machine to be curbed down, the next. We aren’t surely underscoring this rationale as the highest prerequisite to switch over towards the most assured visibility of the dreamt ‘Good Governance’ what for we have been awaiting since our liberation at the cost of the millions’ supreme sacrifices.
It’s no denying a fact that a few high-ups of Cops turned into ‘Monsters’ due to misusing of them severely by the Trio namely; Kamla (Devil leading cops), Amla (Devil bureaucrats) & Gamla (Devil Polity or ruling regime). How do the naughty Devil cops work?
i) MOHA plays the major role of posting, promotion & punition of SP & above.
ii) Rogue Sr. cops get undue promotion or undeserving postings in exchange of a huge money wherein rogue MOHA officials, MOHA Minister, HOG (in the high pecuniary cases) & IGP respectively get their respective due shares.
iii) Thereafter, the rogues get command of Pol. Deptt. & indulge under-commands to comply with their obnoxious mission relentless & reinless.
iv) The honest & committed cops are either by-passed of due promotion or of deserving commands to serve the wailing masses.
v) The Caretaker Govt.’07 failed to pass IPC, despite IPC being formulated almost owing to the unwilling polity, rogue MOHA & rogue Cops.
Symptomatically, Pol reforms’25 is heading towards the same ironical fate in order to reassure the well-ventilation of the rogue Trio. Consequent upon such cruel reality, we must urge upon our Hon’ble CA, HA & LA to be assured kindly of the real pragmatism of the proposed reforms submitted by the Police Commission bypassing the reality to delete the potentials of the ‘Police tyranny’. Regarding this fact we must need the views of concerned stakeholders for assessment & evaluation but in no way should we infer any partisan views of any quarter for giving due cognizance towards the next course of action. It’s to mention obviously that our already proposed reforms, so far, I know, are not neutral, fair & tipped acutely to the righteous rationales of intervention into ‘Police tyranny’.
And it is to reiterate that unless Cops are led by a neutral, fair & unbiased steerers like IPC the harassment, tyranny, misconducts & bribery of the naughty Cops wouldn’t be ended ever as the misuse by the Trio wouldn’t come to an end ever, wherein there might be nothing but a very good-sounding vocabulary so forth ! Let us all accomplish the task to humanize the naughty cops yet before the odd days resurge again towards the oppressed masses at the hand of the rogue polity or rogue officials of both MOHA & Cops.
