Indicating that India will maintain close ties with Bangladesh, Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar said, “We have agreed to maintain close ties.”
A meeting between S Jaishankar and Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman was held at Hyderabad House in Delhi on Wednesday afternoon (April 8). S Jaishankar made this comment on social media regarding the meeting.
The Indian Foreign Minister wrote, “I am delighted to welcome the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh, Khalilur Rahman, and his delegation this afternoon. We discussed ways to strengthen our bilateral relations in various areas. We also exchanged views on regional and international developments. We agreed to maintain close communication.”
