Present at the time were the Chief Executive Officer of the District Council, Ms. Najma Nahar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Mr. Sharif Ullah, students, teachers and other officials and employees of the school.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inaugurated various development and renovation activities of the school. These activities include - installation and tiling of separate washrooms for boys and girls, construction of safety tanks and sockwells in the washrooms, wall plastering of the school building, installation of floor tiles and painting of the entire school building.
The estimated cost of this project, implemented by the District Administration and District Council, is about 20 lakh taka, which will play an important role in the infrastructural development of the school and ensuring a safe, healthy and pleasant learning environment for the students.
He also promised to provide school uniforms to all students of the school and assured that the district administration will continue to provide necessary support to create a modern and quality educational environment for the students.
