The administrator said in a strong voice, the Honorable Prime Minister is the government of the people. So serving the people is our main religion. There are many problems in the area. We are trying to solve all the problems on behalf of the City Corporation.
The Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Tarique Rahman has been put in power by the people after a long 17 years and the Honorable Prime Minister is always working in the service of the people and we will continue to work as his followers.
The administrator also said, "The water problem in some places in Dhaka is at an extreme level. We are trying to solve the water problem by installing water pumps in some places through washers and have been successful.
The administrator also said, "Now we do not see much mosquito infestation. The main reason for this is that we have been able to prevent the breeding of mosquitoes in the canals by cleaning them. With the help of the public, we will restore the canals and make Dhaka North City Corporation free from dengue mosquitoes."
He said, "We are working according to the plan with the hawkers. The hawkers are not sitting in the places we had determined for the full settlement of the hawkers, but are sitting on the sidewalks again, so we cannot work like this. We can solve the situation by cooperating with the hawkers and the public to fully settle the hawkers."
He said, "We have to work with the public to expand the roads and solve the lighting problems in the area."
In response to the appeal of the businessmen to reduce taxes, the administrator said, "We will try to set the tax lower."
Local dignitaries of the area must come forward to improve the law and order situation in the area and cooperate with the law enforcement agencies.
Dhaka 18 MP SM Jahangir Hossain was present as a special guest at the meeting chaired by Regional Executive Officer Md. Kamal Hossain.
Dhaka North City Corporation's Chief Engineer and Chief Health Officer, along with local dignitaries of the area, were present at the event.
