The Administrator said this while inaugurating the UNICEF review workshop organized at the auditorium of Dhaka North City Corporation Nagar Bhaban today.
The Administrator said that DNCC has achieved first place in the measles vaccination program across the country. In continuation of this success, cholera vaccination program will be started in the city from next week.
The Administrator said, the current Prime Minister is a humanitarian Prime Minister. He is working day and night for the development of the country. We are cooperating with him in building the country as his employees and will continue this cooperation.
The Administration said, just as children have been protected through measles vaccination, women will be protected by providing cervical cancer vaccine.
The Administrator sought the full cooperation of the city residents to make Dhaka a clean and healthy city.
He said that DNCC is always by the side of the city residents in various healthcare and public health activities including EPI to ensure the good health of the city residents.
Shafiqul Islam Khan Milton said that if there is waste accumulated anywhere in the city, the DNCC Quick Response Team will take measures to remove it within 24 hours if the city residents inform about it. He also assured that waste has already been cleaned in many areas based on the information received from the citizens.
The workshop held under the chairmanship of Dhaka North City Corporation Chief Health Officer Brigadier General Imrul Kayes Chowdhury was attended by Assistant Director of the Directorate General of Health Services Hasanul Mahmud, DNCC Chief Health Officer Imrul Kayes Chowdhury, UNICEF Bangladesh Health Officer Riyad Mahmud, officials, employees and journalists.
