Two youths were arrested with around 200kg of stolen rubber during an operation at a government rubber plantation in Fatikchhari, Chattogram.
The operation was conducted on August 20 at the Fanoar Matha area of Dantmara Rubber Garden based on a tip-off.
A team of Bangladesh Ansar members, led by PC Md Emdadul Haque, searched a suspicious easy-bike and recovered sacks containing the stolen rubber. The suspects, identified as Sakib and Naim, were also arrested at the scene.
Police from Dantmara Investigation Centre were later informed and took the suspects and the seized easy-bike into custody for legal action early on August 21.
