Professor Dr. Md. Nazmus Sadat, Vice Chancellor of Gopalganj University of Science and Technology, extended his heartfelt congratulations and warm wishes to Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on his swearing-in as the 23rd President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
In a congratulatory message on Friday (August 21) night, the Vice Chancellor said that the inauguration of Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir to the highest constitutional post of the state has initiated an important chapter in the democratic and constitutional journey of Bangladesh. He expressed hope that his long political life, commitment to the country and people, experience, wisdom and foresight will play a special role in fulfilling this important responsibility of the state.
The Vice Chancellor said that His Excellency the President is also the Chancellor of Gopalganj University of Science and Technology. We believe that his guardian-like leadership, guidance and patronage will open new horizons in the quality improvement of higher education of the university, expansion of research, innovation, technology-based education and development of skilled and patriotic human resources.
He further said, the wise leadership and cooperation of His Excellency the President will inspire us on the path of transforming Gopalganj Science and Technology University into a modern university of international standards through knowledge, research and innovation. Under his patronage, the education and research environment of the university will be further enriched and the contribution of this university to national development will be further strengthened.
In his congratulatory message, the Vice-Chancellor wished His Excellency the President good health, longevity, peace and overall success. He expressed the hope that under the experienced, wise and far-sighted leadership of His Excellency President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Bangladesh will move forward more firmly on the path of democracy, justice, peace, prosperity and development.
