Veteran BNP politician Abdul Hakim Miji has passed away (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un). He was 90 years old at the time of his death. He breathed his last around 3:30 PM on Friday (September 11) at his residence in the Collegepara area of ​​the town.

The late Abdul Hakim Miji served as the President of the Char-Kewar Union BNP in Munshiganj Sadar Upazila and was a former Union Parishad Chairman. His passing has cast a shadow of grief over his family, relatives, political colleagues, and local residents.

His funeral prayer (Janaza) will be held at the Munshiganj Jame Mosque after the Isha prayers. A second funeral prayer will take place at 10:00 PM on the premises of Torki Jame Mosque in Char-Kewar Union, followed by his burial at the Miji Bari graveyard. Local BNP MPs, party leaders and activists, as well as people from various walks of life, have expressed deep condolences over his death and prayed for the salvation of his soul.
