Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP) members prevented a clash involving a group of teenagers at a Durga Puja mandap in Jhikargachha, Jashore, on Friday night and handed seven youths over to police.
The incident occurred at around 9:30pm on October 16 in front of the No. 1 Baroari Krishnanagar Puja Mandir.

Six Ansar-VDP members on security duty quickly intervened, brought the situation under control and detained seven youths allegedly involved in the clash. They were later handed over to police for legal action.
