Financial grant checks have been distributed to 15 individuals from the discretionary fund of the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Magura-1 constituency.
On Monday morning (October 19), the checks were distributed at the Magura Sadar Upazila auditorium. MP for the Magura-1 constituency, Monowar Hossain Khan was present as the chief guest at the program and handed over the checkes presided over by Sadar Upazila Executive Officer ( UNO) Meherunnahar.
District BNP Joint Convener Akhtar Hossain,Magura Press Club President Professor Saidur Rahman and General Secretary Shafiqul Islam Shafiq, Municipal BNP President Masud Hasan Khan Kizil and District Krishak Dal President Rubayet Hossain Khan among others were present as the special guest at the program..
It was announced during the event, that a total of 1,25,000 Taka was distributed among the 15 recipients.
