Foreign ambassadors will visit the Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Academy in Shafipur, Gazipur, on Monday (October 26) to observe the overall activities and training system of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP).
The information was disclosed in an invitation letter issued by the force's headquarters on October 24.
The programme will run from 9:30am to 3:25pm. The activities will include meetings, visits to training programmes and facilities, and a cultural event.
The programme will be presided over by Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud, AFWC, PSC, director general of Bangladesh Ansar and VDP.
The force has requested editors, news editors, assignment editors and chief reporters of national dailies and online news portals to assign reporters to cover the event.
