Once-popular television actress Bipasha Hayat is set to return to the small screen after a seven-year hiatus, appearing as a guest on a podcast rather than in a drama.
She will feature in the podcast show Behind the Fame with RRK, airing on Machranga Television at 9pm on Saturday (April 4). This marks her first-ever appearance on a podcast.
The actress has been living in the United States since 2019. Although she has stayed away from acting in recent years, she has remained actively involved in painting and the arts.
Speaking about her acting career on the show, Bipasha said she has not retired from acting. At this stage of her career, she prefers roles that challenge her and allow her to fully immerse herself in character through intense preparation.
The discussion also touched on her career in the 1990s, when she received offers for commercial films, including Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, as well as opportunities from Bollywood.
Bipasha also expressed her desire to work for underprivileged street children in Bangladesh. She said she often urges government and administrative officials to take stronger initiatives to support them and shared some of her own ideas on the issue during the podcast.
