A total of 165 lakh taka (16.5 million BDT) has been distributed as cheques among 150 institutions under various development projects funded by the Magura District Council.
The cheques were handed over on Tuesday afternoon at the District Council auditorium. The event was attended by District Council Administrator Ali Ahmed as the chief guest.
Special guests included Chief Executive Officer Hasina Mumtaz, President of Magura Press Club Professor Saidur Rahman, and Assistant Engineer Hriday Parvez, among others.
It was informed that fewer than 113 projects, a total of 150 institutions across four upazilas in the district received financial support from the District Council.
