Like the rest of the country, the National Vitamin "A" Plus Campaign-2026 was inaugurated in Gopalganj as well. As the chief guest at the event, Prime Minister's Special Assistant on Health SM Ziauddin Haider (State Minister rank) inaugurated the National Vitamin 'A' Plus Campaign-2026 at the Gopalganj Municipal Auditorium on Sunday (June 28) morning.
Dr., Member of Parliament for Gopalganj-2 constituency, was present as the special guest at the event. KM Babar, Gopalganj Deputy Commissioner and learned District Magistrate Md. Arif-uz- Zaman, District Police Superintendent Md. Habibullah, District Council Administrator and District BNP Convener Bir Muktijoddha Sharif Rafiquzzaman, District Civil Surgeon Dr. Abu Sayeed Md. Faruk, Deputy Director of Gopalganj Government Medical College Dr. Niaz Mohammad, Superintendent of Gopalganj 250-bed General Hospital Dr. Jeebitesh Biswas.
People from different classes and professions were present at the time. Officials of various government and private organizations, political figures, and journalists from print and electronic media in the district were present.
