Six more children died from measles-like symptoms in the past 24 hours, raising the combined number of confirmed and suspected measles-related deaths in Bangladesh to 816.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), suspected measles deaths have reached 721, while laboratory-confirmed deaths stand at 95. During the same period, 613 new suspected cases and 78 confirmed cases were reported, bringing the total suspected infections to 122,763 and confirmed cases to 15,272.
