The administrator said that the population of Dhaka City is much more than its carrying capacity. Earlier, one-story houses, tin houses, sometimes one-story buildings were built at most. Now, one building has become a big appointment, eight floors, ten floors. Previously, a family of four or five members now has 150 or 200 large families living in one house. Due to this, the demand has increased much more than the carrying capacity of Dhaka City, as a result, gas, electricity and water problems have emerged. We are moving forward with a plan to solve these problems. We will succeed with the help of the people, God willing.
The administrator complained that Titas Gas is working like it should, but during the previous government, a gas crisis was created by allowing a company to sell LPG gas for business.
Although we were supposed to get our natural resources properly, due to the previous political government, we could not properly deliver natural resources to the people. The current government is working to properly deliver natural resources to the people.
The administrator said, we are trying to give more than the minimum right of the people to live in the city.
The administrator complained that in the last 18 years, during the tenure of the previous government, all the tax money of Bangladesh has been laundered.
The administrator said, if the people cooperate, we will be able to meet the needs of your city residents. We will try our best. We have one demand from you, you will maintain the developments we will make on your own responsibility and cooperate with us in development activities.
He said, if you have legal holdings to the City Corporation, those who pay taxes on time. You will have regular maintenance of such roads.
The administrator said, to avoid dengue, first of all, everyone here and their families must be made aware. Through you, you will also inform your friends and relatives that you should clean the garbage around your house and throw away the clean water from the containers. If you have a roof garden, you should throw away the accumulated water from the seven gardens. Dengue mosquito larvae breed in clean water.
The administrator said, we will free all illegal canals of Dhaka North City Corporation and dig the canals and create walkways for people to move on both sides. For this, we are preparing the project as per the instructions of the Honorable Prime Minister. The Dhaka North City Corporation should come forward to cooperate with the city residents to free the illegal canals from encroachment.
The administrator said, the contractor organization should cooperate in all the development activities of Dhaka North City Corporation and the contractors should implement the development activities in a timely manner by following the rules and regulations.
If we all cooperate with each other, then Bangladesh will move forward on the path of development of the Honorable Prime Minister first.
