Bangladesh Navy Chief Vice Admiral Khondkar Misbah Ul Azim met Ansar and VDP Director General Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud at the Naval Headquarters in Dhaka on Monday (10 August 2026).
During the cordial meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in national security, internal stability, disaster response and strategic security.
The meeting also focused on enhancing security in coastal areas, sharing information, developing technical and professional skills, and expanding cooperation in training.
The Ansar-VDP director general congratulated the newly appointed Navy chief and expressed hope for stronger relations between the two forces.
Both sides emphasised expanding coordination and cooperation in the national interest to safeguard the country’s stability, independence and sovereignty.
The meeting ended with an exchange of flowers and commemorative gifts as a symbol of goodwill and friendship between the two forces.
