Bangladesh and Qatar have discussed issues of mutual interest and explored new avenues to further strengthen bilateral relations.
The discussions took place during a meeting between Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr Khalilur Rahman and Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi, in Doha.
According to a press release received on Wednesday, the meeting was held as part of Dr Khalilur Rahman’s official visit to Qatar.
During the talks, both sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and discussed possible ways to deepen cooperation and further enhance the longstanding relations between Dhaka and Doha.
Adviser to the Prime Minister for Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir was also present at the meeting.
