Director General of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (Ansar-VDP) Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud, SGP, BAM, NDU, AFWC, PSC, paid a courtesy call on Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister M. Rashiduzzaman Millat at the Secretariat on Monday.
During the meeting, the Ansar-VDP chief congratulated Millat on his appointment as the full minister of the ministry. He also exchanged floral greetings with the newly appointed minister.
The minister praised the professionalism and reputation of Ansar personnel deployed at the country’s airports and urged them to continue their dedicated efforts to maintain discipline and ensure the security of passengers and state assets.
Major General Sazzad Mahmud briefed the minister on the preparations and coordination measures for deploying Ansar personnel to provide security at the newly constructed Third Terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to continued cooperation for the welfare of the country and its people. They also pledged to work together, prioritising national security and the sustainable development of Bangladesh’s tourism sector.
