Gopalganj Police Superintendent Md Habibullah on Tuesday (August 25) pinned the rank badge on ASI (Unarmed) Md Sohel Mia following his promotion to Sub-Inspector (Unarmed).

Sohel Mia was promoted based on the central merit list against genuine vacant posts approved by the Police Headquarters.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Mohammad Kazi Humayun Rashid and Assistant Superintendent of Police (Probationer) Roni Hawladar were present at the event held at the Police Superintendent’s office.

Following the badge-pinning ceremony, the police officials greeted and congratulated the newly promoted SI with flowers. They also wished him success in carrying out his professional duties with honesty, integrity and dedication.
