Advocate Saimon Chowdhury, elder son of Alhaj Farhad Chowdhury, Associate Editor of the renowned English Paper, “The Daily Industry”, is being remembered today on his second death anniversary.
Saimon passed away from cardiac arrest at BIRDEM General Hospital on August 30, 2024, at the age of 32. He served as Legal Affairs Secretary of North Jatrabari Somaj Unnayan Samity and was also the editor of Monthly Challo Bangladesh.
He is survived by his parents, a son, two brothers, a sister, and a large circle of friends and well-wishers.
To mark the occasion, dua and milad mahfils will be held at North Jatrabari Ponchayet Graveyard, Bibir Bagicha Mosque, and at his residence in Jatrabari.
Saimon was laid to rest at the North Jatrabari Ponchayet Graveyard.
