The newly appointed treasurer of Gopalganj University of Science and Technology, Professor Dr. Md. Khasrul Alam, has joined. He officially joined as the third treasurer of the university on Sunday (September 6) afternoon. At this time, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Sohel Hasan gave him a warm welcome.
After joining, Professor Dr. Md. Khasrul Alam sought everyone's cooperation to take the university forward.
Earlier, on August 27, with the approval of the President, the government appointed this professor of the Department of Business Administration of Khulna University as per Section 13(1) of the Gopalganj University of Science and Technology Act-2001 for 4 years or until the date of retirement.
According to the notification issued by the Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education, Professor Dr. Md. Khasrul Alam will perform the duties prescribed by the statute and law of the university and assigned by the Vice-Chancellor as the treasurer.
