Rangpur Range DIG Mohammad Abdul Mabud has instructed all members of the Lalmonirhat District Police to perform their duties with professionalism, honesty and discipline.
He made the remarks as the chief guest at a special welfare meeting held at the Lalmonirhat Police Lines Drill Shed on Sunday (13 September).
The DIG urged police members to remain connected with the public and ensure police services reach people’s doorsteps. He also stressed maintaining impartiality, discipline and professionalism while on duty.
He called for friendly and humane behaviour towards people seeking services at police stations and directed officers to work with vigilance and sincerity to ensure public safety.
The meeting was chaired by Lalmonirhat Superintendent of Police Md Asaduzzaman. Officials and members from different units attended the meeting and discussed their welfare and professional concerns with the DIG.
