Jamalpur Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Md Yusuf Ali inspected Kendua Union Parishad and Kendua Union Land Office in Jamalpur Sadar upazila on Tuesday.
During the visit, he reviewed the activities of the village court, birth and death registration services and other public service operations at the union parishad. He also enquired about the overall activities of the land office and the progress of land-related services.
Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate of Jamalpur Sadar Upazila Tanvir Haider accompanied the deputy commissioner during the inspection.
The deputy commissioner stressed ensuring prompt, accessible and quality services to reduce public suffering. He also instructed the officials and employees concerned to make village court activities more effective, complete birth and death registrations on time, and ensure transparency and accountability in land services.
He emphasised delivering government services to people's doorsteps and improving the quality of services for the public.
