On this occasion, a colorful rally started from the premises of the Deputy Commissioner's office on the morning of 23 April (Thursday) and ended at the same place after circumambulating the important roads of the city. The rally was attended by the Deputy Commissioner and learned District Magistrate Syeda Nurmahal Ashrafi, Civil Surgeon, Munshiganj, Mr. Dr. Md. Kamrul Jamaddar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mr. Muhammad Mushabberul Islam and heads of various departments of the district. In addition, people from different classes and professions spontaneously participated in the rally, which plays an important role in increasing public awareness on nutrition.
After the rally, a discussion meeting was held in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's office. The meeting was presided over by Deputy Commissioner and learned District Magistrate Syeda Nurmahal Ashrafi. The meeting discussed in detail the issues to be addressed in raising awareness about nutrition, developing balanced eating habits and preventing malnutrition. Various programs will be implemented throughout the week with the theme "End the days of nutritional inequality, let's build a prosperous Bangladesh."
