A vested interest group is carrying out organized propaganda against Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force by capitalizing on some isolated incidents in various parts of the country, including Bagatipara in Natore and Gafargaon in Mymensingh. Taking advantage of the simplicity of Ansar members and cutting and distorting one or two statements, purposeful propaganda is being spread on social media and some media. However, the matter has already come to the attention of the force and the force is reiterating its uncompromising stance against such negative propaganda.
Despite these unwanted propaganda, there has been no shortage of dedication and professionalism of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force members at the field level. Despite the unwanted propaganda, the strong stance and sincere service of the force members against injustice have been continuously increasing the public trust and confidence in the Ansar and Village Defence Force among the general public in recent times.
As a major example of this growing trust, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has given the responsibility of long-term security of all its stadiums and facilities to the Ansar Force and has signed an agreement. In a recent viral podcast, BCB Director Mr. Syed Ibrahim Ahmed highly praised the capabilities of the Ansar members and expressed deep satisfaction with their performance.
On July 12, an undesirable incident began with a person parking his motorcycle in a reserved area of the Bagatipara Upazila Health Complex in Natore, completely against the rules. Although the Ansar member on duty there forbade him to park his motorcycle in the designated area, he completely disobeyed and forcibly left the vehicle there. Later, when the person returned, he got angry and threatened the Ansar member on duty by falsely identifying himself as a hospital staff. Later, after the hospital authorities and the upazila administration gave him a stern warning, the accused apologized to the Ansar members, and the matter was resolved.
The investigation revealed that in response to the demands of the doctors, 5,000 Ansar members have been deployed in 500 upazilas of the country under the direction of the Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Tarique Rahman, and are performing their duties with dedication and professionalism to maintain the security and law and order of doctors and hospitals. However, angered by this, some alleged view traders and unauthorized local media outlets are running organized propaganda and propaganda against a well-disciplined force through social media and the media.
The common people have rejected with disgust such attempts of self-interested circles to distort the statements of some members of the force and hide the real facts. No lie spread against this disciplined and professional force engaged in the protection of hospitals, doctors and service recipients, the security of important government and private establishments and places of the country, as well as the overall law and order of the country, could dampen the trust of the people.
Due to the fair and uncompromising stance of the extensive network of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force, which has broken all kinds of conspiracies and propaganda for the welfare of the country and the people, the force is performing its duties with great reputation as a symbol of the trust and confidence of the people. This large force is always committed to serving the country and the people by maintaining its glorious history and facing all challenges.
