Lalmonirhat Deputy Commissioner Muh: Rashedul Haque Pradhan inspected the ongoing various social and developmental programs of the non-governmental development organization 'Nazir' (Natun Jiban Rochi) of Lalmonirhat. During his visit to Nazir NGO at 10 am, he inquired about the various development activities of the organization and distributed various support materials among the beneficiaries.
As part of the program, 1500 seedlings of different varieties of fruit, forest and medicinal plants, 20 goats, 5 wheelchairs and 1 sewing machine were distributed among the beneficiaries. At this time, Assistant Commissioner of the Deputy Commissioner's Office Md. Mamunur, Executive Director of Nazir Nargis Parvin, Advisor of the organization Nurul Haque Sarkar and other senior officials of the organization were present among others.
At the event, Deputy Commissioner Muhd Rashedul Haque Pradhan praised Nazir's humanitarian and self-employment initiative and said, "Such programs are highly commendable for improving the quality of life of the poor and underprivileged people. Especially, the distribution of trees will maintain the balance of the environment and people will be able to become self-reliant through the distribution of goats and sewing machines." He urged Nazir to continue this welfare-oriented trend in the future.
Executive Director of the organization, Nargis Parveen, thanked the Deputy Commissioner and said, "Nazeer is always working to meet the basic needs of the people and build a self-reliant society. This presence and cooperation of the administration will further increase the pace of our work." The beneficiaries of the area expressed great joy after receiving saplings, goats and wheelchairs and expressed gratitude to the organization.
