Barishal Metropolitan Police (BMP) Commissioner and Additional DIG of Barishal Range, Abu Rayhan Mohammad Saleh, paid a surprise visit to the Barishal In-Service Training Centre on Sunday, August 9.
Upon his arrival at the training centre, he was warmly welcomed with flowers by the centre’s Commandant and Superintendent of Police, Md. Abdullah Al Yachin.
During the visit, Commissioner Saleh inaugurated a training course and inspected various activities of the In-Service Training Centre. He also reviewed the overall training arrangements and operational activities and provided necessary directives to the officials concerned.
Among those present during the visit were Barishal Range Additional DIG (Administration and Finance) Dr. Md. Saifullah Bin Anwar, Additional DIG (Crime and Operations) Md. Humayun Kabir, Barishal District Police Superintendent A.Z.M. Mostafizur Rahman, BMP Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Md. Sharfuddin, and other senior police officials.
The visit was aimed at observing the training centre’s activities and ensuring effective and professional training for police personnel.
