US President Donald Trump has expressed his desire to meet Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman soon, saying Bangladesh and its people have a “very bright future” under his leadership.
In a letter sent to Tarique, Trump said he was confident about Bangladesh’s future and conveyed his warm regards to the country’s people.
Trump also thanked Tarique for deciding to purchase Boeing aircraft, assuring him that “Boeing will not let Bangladesh down.”
“I look forward to meeting you in the not too distant future,” Trump wrote.
