Despite multiple reports in the media, no such action has been taken from any government department regarding the public nuisance.
However, an official of the Dinajpur Zilla Parishad said on the phone that action will be taken after observing the illegal occupants on the spot.
Although permission has been given to set up temporary shops on the site of the Roads and Towns (Sowj) Department along the wall of the Daudpur Union Land Assistant Officer's office in Daudpur Bazar Charmatha of Nawabganj Upazila of Dinajpur, no one is complying with that condition.

Although temporary shops made of bamboo and wood were supposed to be set up and run by themselves, now those shops are being rented out with a deposit of several lakhs of taka. Free rental business is going on with a deposit of 2 to 3 lakh taka for each shop.
These illegal structures are encroaching on government land and narrowing the road, resulting in increasing public suffering.
Vehicles are running at risk due to illegal encroachments and illegal structures, and unwanted accidents can happen at any time.
Locals complained about this and said, "If the way shops are being built by encroaching on government land is not stopped, it will create bigger problems in the future." The affected people also demand that these structures, which are built to hinder the movement of vehicles and pedestrians, be demolished in the public interest through a mobile court.
