The Inter-institutional Annual Sports Competition of the Department of Social Services, Barisal Division-2026 has been held. This inter-institutional annual sports competition was held at the Kabi Jibanananda Das Stadium (Outer Stadium) organized by the Department of Social Services, Barisal Division on Wednesday, January 7 at 10 am.
Additional Divisional Commissioner (General) Md. Ahsan Habib was the chief guest at the event. Range DIG Md. Manjur Morshed Alam, Director of the Department of Social Services Divisional Office Shah Md. Rafiqul Islam were the special guests at the event. Deputy Commissioner Md. Khairul Alam Sumon presided over the event.
Also present were Deputy Director of the District Social Services Office AKM Akhtaruzzaman Talukder, Assistant Director Sajjad Parvez, and senior officers and members of the concerned departments. Today's event was successfully held with spontaneous participation and a festive atmosphere of students from various institutions under the department. Such initiatives will play a unique role in developing the latent talents of students and instilling a sense of discipline through sports and physical exercise.
