The 11th BCS Forum meeting was held and after discussing various important issues of the forum, a new committee was unanimously elected.
The 11th BCS Forum meeting was held at the BIAM Auditorium in the capital on Sunday (March 1) and retired Secretary Dr. Md. Faridul Islam was elected as the new president and retired Secretary Md. Ihsanul Haque was elected as the general secretary. In addition, former Vice-Principal of Dhaka Medical College Dr. Abdul Hanif Tablu was elected as the first vice-president.
The members present at the meeting sincerely congratulated the newly elected committee and expressed hope that the activities of the forum will be more dynamic under the new leadership.
President Dr. Md. Faridul Islam said - Citizens from all walks of life have skyrocketing expectations from the new government that has come to power. May a healthy political trend return to the country, where prices, corruption and law and order will be under control. The opponent will not be burdened with assault cases. We will have to work together with the government with the determination to build a discrimination-free Bangladesh.
It is important to coordinate between the various ministries and departments of the government and our only goal is to take administrative decisions and implement the instructions of the Honorable Prime Minister. Finally, prayers are offered for the welfare of the country and the nation.
