Newly appointed Divisional Commissioner Khalil Ahmed visited various hospitals in Barisal city. On Tuesday afternoon, April 28, the Barisal Divisional Commissioner went on a special inspection accompanied by Barisal Local Government Department Director Khondaker Anwar Hossain and Range DIG Md. Mostafizur Rahman.
He first visited Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital, Sher-e-Bangla Government Cancer Hospital and Shaheed Sukanta Babu Children's Hospital. During the inspection, the Barisal Divisional Commissioner, Local Government Director and Range DIG spent some time with the patients undergoing treatment at the hospital and inquired about their treatment.
He exchanged views with the doctors on duty on ensuring better service to the patients. Present at the time were Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital Director Brig. J. AKM Moshiul Munir, Civil Surgeon Dr. SM Manzoor-e-Elahi, Deputy Commissioner Md. Khairul Alam Sumon and other hospital doctors.
