Md Shahin Sagor, Rajshahi Bureau: Rajshahi Development Authority (RDA) Chairman Md. Abul Kalam Azad Sweet paid a courtesy meeting with Member of Parliament Abu Sayeed Chad, representing Rajshahi-6 (Bagha-Charghat) constituency.
The meeting, held at the RDA office on Sunday (July 19), focused on the overall development of the Rajshahi region, planned urbanization, and ongoing as well as proposed infrastructure development projects.
During the meeting, RDA Chairman Md. Abul Kalam Azad Sweet briefed the lawmaker on the authority’s ongoing development activities, the progress of various projects, and its future plans. He said the RDA is working relentlessly to implement planned development initiatives aimed at building a modern, livable, and environmentally friendly Rajshahi.
MP Abu Sayeed Chad appreciated the RDA’s initiatives to promote sustainable development, strengthen infrastructure, and implement people-oriented urban planning in the region. He also stressed the importance of coordinated efforts among all stakeholders to accelerate development activities.
At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed optimism that greater cooperation, coordination, and effective implementation of development plans would further accelerate Rajshahi’s overall development.
