Members of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party returned a lost bag containing Tk10,000 and important documents to its rightful owner at Kabi Jibanananda Das Stadium in Barishal.
The bag was found at around 10:30 am on Monday near the stadium's main gate by Ansar members Md Sohel and Md Bariul while they were on duty. After recovering the bag, they found Tk10,000 in cash along with important documents and informed people nearby to help identify the owner.
Later, the owner, Md Hossain, a student of Sher-e-Bangla Medical College, claimed the bag and presented the necessary proof. Following verification, the Ansar members handed over the bag with the cash and documents.
Md Hossain thanked the Ansar personnel for their honesty and professionalism. The Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party said its members remain committed to serving the public with integrity while ensuring security and protecting citizens' property.
