Barishal Metropolitan Police (BMP) Commissioner Abu Raihan Muhammad Saleh conducted surprise inspections at several police facilities and key traffic points in the city on Wednesday.
The commissioner inspected the BMP ration store, clothing store and D-store, where he reviewed relevant registers and checked the storage of supplies. He directed officials to ensure proper preservation of materials and fair distribution among police personnel according to their entitlements.
Later, he visited Rupatali and Nathullabad bus terminals and the Muktijoddha Constable Rahman Ali Hawladar Police Box at Goriar Par to assess the overall traffic management situation.
Commissioner Saleh instructed the concerned officials to take necessary measures to make traffic management activities more effective and dynamic.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) Md. Abdul Hannan and other senior police officials were present during the inspections.
