168 meritorious students who cleared SSC examination 2026 from Bandarban Government High School were felicitated. On Wednesday morning, Bandarban Government High School Alumni Association organized this colorful program at the cultural institute auditorium of the district town.
Crests, notebooks, pens and certificates were given to meritorious students on the occasion. Apart from this, each of the 16 students who obtained GPA-5 was given a monetary award of 3 thousand rupees as a special motivation.
The whole auditorium turned into a festive atmosphere during the meeting of the past and present students of the school.
In the speech of the chief guest at the reception ceremony, Minister of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Ministry Saching Pru Jerry said that students should never be aimless or demoralized. A clear goal of life should be determined in accordance with one's talent and reality. Success doesn't happen overnight; It is a continuous and continuous process. It is only through constant efforts and regular practice that the desired success can be achieved.
Speaking as a special guest at the event, Bandarban Hill District Council Chairman Mamaching said that the issue of teacher shortage in hill educational institutions is of great concern. The Zila Parishad will work with utmost sincerity to resolve the shortage of teachers especially at the secondary level. He assured to remove the crisis by taking alternative measures locally if necessary.
