Barisal district administration public hearing solves problems of 163 People

In the public hearing held by the Barisal District Administration, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Delwar Hossain solved the problems of 163 people. Some of them were given medical expenses, some were given capital for small businesses to support their livelihood, and educational materials were given to educational institutions for helpless children.

The district administration holds such public hearings four times a month. In the last one year, the district administration has found solutions to various problems of 4,500 citizens from the public hearings. In the public hearing held on Wednesday, September 17, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Delwar Hossain immediately solved the problems of the citizens. 

The Deputy Commissioner completed the initial activities of all the activities that were time-consuming and assigned the responsibility of solving the problems to other departments. In the public hearing held on this day, the resident medical officer of the District Civil Surgeon's Office, Dr. Munshi Mubinul Haque, provided immediate medical care to the sick people. 

At that time, he sent those who needed more advanced treatment to specialist doctors. In addition, Assistant Director of the District Social Services Office Sajjad Parvez and Deputy Director of the District Women's Affairs Department Meherun Nahar Munni were given the responsibility of solving the long-term problems of the helpless people. 

Various voluntary organizations, including the voluntary organization 84 Event Group, are cooperating with the district administration in this program. Assistant Director of the Barisal District Social Services Office Sajjad Parvez said, "In today's public hearing, we are solving various problems of the citizens.

Through this, the helpless people are being brought back to the mainstream." Deputy Director of the Barisal District Women's Affairs Department Meherun Nahar Munni said, "We are providing special assistance to the helpless women who come to the public hearing. As a result, helpless women are easily getting government services.

The Deputy Commissioner said, various government programs are being conducted to bring the helpless people into the mainstream of society. One of the means of this is public hearing. From here, I listen to the problems of the people and solve them with the help of various departments. He said that citizens are being deprived of many government services due to lack of information. 

In Wednesday's public hearing, assistance was provided for the marriage of a disabled person's daughter, treatment of a sick person, and rehabilitation of unemployed and begging people with business capital. 

In addition, the Deputy Commissioner provided other assistance such as providing sewing machines to women in danger due to the death of their husbands to make them self-reliant, arranging for the livelihood of elderly people, and providing allowances to pregnant women. During this time, assistance was provided to helpless and orphaned students, and educational materials were provided to schools run by deprived children.

In addition, cash assistance was provided in cases of 6 special diseases including cancer. Such effective public hearings organized by the Barisal Deputy Commissioner are a reflection of an integrated, transparent and people-oriented administration that continues to play an important role in ensuring the fair rights of citizens.
